Luxuriate in the king sized bed in the master bedroom and awake to the spectacular ocean and mountain views this condo offers from its floor to ceiling windows. This unit also has a private second bedroom with a queen sized bed. Both bedrooms are equipped with quality Serta mattresses. Plus, the eight foot long sofa in the living room has one, long, single, cushion which allows the sofa to double as a twin sized bed if needed. New linens are all provided for your convenience and comfort.
Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail from the privacy of your lanai. There are very few 2 bedroom condos located at the Makaha Valley Towers, and the private lanai is a feature that is not available in the one bedroom units.
The beautiful Makaha Beach is located less than a mile away and everything you need to enjoy your day(s) at the beach is provided; beach towels, cooler and beach chairs. This property also boasts a beautiful pool and convenient barbecue area for your convenience.
Enjoy the Paradise Cove Luau located by the new 'Aulani' Disney World Resort, located in Ko 'Olina which is an easy ten mile coastal drive. The convenience of Target, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Costco, Safeway, Ross, Sports Authority, Restaurants and other conveniences are located in nearby Kapolei.
The Waianae Marina is less than five miles from the condo. The tour boats will take you on amazing adventures to nearby locations which offer the best snorkeling on the island. You can swim with the dolphins and even whale watch during the winter months. Nearby Poka'i Bay is a great place to swim! This protected cove is like swimming in a huge salt water pool and is a great place to take your kids. If you enjoy nature you are going to LOVE the beautiful peacocks which roam freely around the property and the braying sounds of the wild baby billy goats that reside in the mountains right outside your door.
The condo is centrally air-conditioned and comes equipped with linens and cooking utensils so you can enjoy all the comforts of home. This unit also has a new 46' flat screen TV and a DVD player in the living room as well as a new flat screen TV in the master bedroom, (both of these televisions are connected to cable). Wonderful!
We had a great vacation and would stay here again! It was very clean and comfortable! We were away from the busy city which made it nice to relax! This property’s owner was extremely helpful with fine details that made our vacation so much easier and more enjoyable! I would highly recommend it!

What a view!
Three of us (wife, her mom, and I) spent six nights in this unit. Stunning views, decently stocked kitchen, comfy beds and furniture. The location requires either a car or use of public transport which seems quite regular. 20 minute downhill walk to the beach. Limited sidewalks. Golf course nearby. Makaha town is pretty much the end of the paved road, and not in the least bit resorty, truly a local neighborhood. We found the people to be very friendly and helpful. Good grocery stores nearby didn't really explore the restaurant scene. The condo complex itself, yup, a bunch of rules. Meh. Didn't cramp our style at all, and we found the staff and residents all very friendly and helpful. Good response times from the owner. I Recommend this rental,

Exactly what we had hoped for!
We booked this happy space for 11 nights and could not have been more pleased. The decor is beautiful and soothing. The king bed is so comfortable (drapes in that room don't adjust but that worked in our favor) and the kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. There was a bit of wear on the pantry door (could use a coat of paint and one skillet with loose handle, but c'mon, nothing could beat the 'end of the road' location. This unit is 25 steps from the laundry center/trash disposal area, which was a plus for us. We had zero issues with pests or bugs of any kind. The view from the lanai was everything the photos showed in the listing. Stunning, absolutely beautiful, even when a bit of rain would sweep through with low clouds. The peacocks on site are gorgeous, a bit noisy but never a bother. They were quite comical when a car alarm would go off, sometimes they'd start calling out, back and forth. We appreciated the security gate and the careful attention paid to vehicles coming and going. Makaha beach is a five minute drive or twenty minute walk down the road. We donated a new beach umbrella to the unit to go with the towels and sand chairs that are provided for guests. We won't be needing it back in Alaska :) There are no tourist activities out that way, which is exactly what we wanted. Rest, play, reflect in all that beauty...repeat. Interaction with Sandy was timely, informative and extemely helpful every time we had a question before we arrived. We had no need to reach out to her the whole time we were booked in the as everything was in good order, as advertised. We are already looking forward to when we can return!

Great stay
We had a fantastic stay at this property. All interactions with the owners were informative and timely, we appreciated a little check-in gift and note left for us, very kind. The accommodations were exactly as described on the listing and the photos don't do the view justice. Instructions sent were very clear and easy to follow and we had no problems with the complex rules, which were clear and easy to follow. The complex feels very safe as a result. The location is very out of the way, which is one of our reasons for selecting, but does make travel to some of the more 'touristy' areas a little time consuming, but the trade-off is a more typical Oahu experience, rather than the commercialisation seen in Waikiki. Would recommend both the apartment and owners. We appreciated all the little extras in the unit - like beach towels and beach chairs that made for a really easy vacation. Mahalo Sandy.

Amazing views
The condo was exactly as described with beautiful views of ocean and mountains. The condo inviting, well decorated and comfortable. Appreciate all the little extras like beach towels beach chairs, umbrella and welcome gifts. We had a great out of big city experience which we were hoping for. Worth the drive
This place was just what we were looking for. It was in a nice quiet area. It’s a bit of a drive to Honolulu/Waikiki, but totally worth it. We enjoyed the peacocks on the property as well. Would stay here again.

Fantastic condo in out of the way location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Family of four with two kids (8 & 13). Condo is nicely laid out with all the amenities. Swimming pool is gorgeous and beach at the end of the road is nice and sandy with great swimming. While the the condo is a drive in and out of Honolulu it’s a gorgeous drive. We did a tour that started in Honolulu and we needed to be there for 8:00 am. We left the condo at 6:30 am and we were late due to the traffic. Would recommend leaving at 6:00 am if you have a tour booked for 8:00 am due to rush hour. Rush hour is totally manageable if you’re prepared to leave the condo around 10:00 and and head back after 6:30 pm. We never had any issues with this and we were able to stay close to the condo, when we wanted the beaches. There is a Costco, Target and Walmart about 30 minutes away. We stocked up on groceries and ate most of our meals in the condo. It is well appointed and easy to cook in. BBQs are great too! Mahalo! The Richards Family Victoria BC Canada

Nice stay away from tourist craziness
We used to live on the island and had little interest in dealing the Waikiki craziness. We enjoyed this peaceful, quiet and beautiful place, felt safe and had no trouble with the area. In fact, every person we came across was friendly and treated us like old friends. The place was exactly as described in the listing and the people in the guard shack and front desk were knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. They are particular about the pool rules, checking on adherence of the rules every 1/2 hour or so. The binder of activities in the room lead us to the local Dolphin excursion which was one of our favorite adventures while staying there. The drive to the harbor is very short unlike many other activities on the island. Also met up with a great scuba shop in the same building, was able to get two tanks and some weight without having to trek across the island to do so. Also highly recommend the local surf shop, Hale Nalu, for snorkel gear, surf rentals and more. Overall, a great place to stay. It’s a bit of a drive, so explore the west side and you’ll be surprised in the hidden gems you’ll find, like this place.
