The Waianae Marina is less than 5 miles from the condo. The tour boats will take you on amazing adventures to nearby locations which offer the best snorkeling locations on the island. You can swim with the dolphins and even whale watch during the winter months. Nearby Poka'i bay is a great place to swim! This protected cove is like swimming in a huge salt water pool. If you enjoy nature, you are going to LOVE the beautiful peacocks which roam freely around the property and the braying sounds of the wild baby billy goats that reside in the mountains right outside your door.
The condo is centrally air-conditioned and comes equipped with linens and cooking utensils so you can enjoy all of the comforts of home. Nice, well stocked place!
We stayed at the condo for 4 days and found it to be a very well stocked place! I did not need to pack as many beach things as I did, since the condo had everything we needed for a fun beach day. The bathroom and kitchen was well stocked also with things like razors, soap, cleaning supplies etc., incase you forgot anything. The kitchen has spices and coffee filters etc. Was nice not having to purchase all these little things to get by for a few days. We found the location was not too far from where we wanted to go most days. 30 minutes from Honolulu and Aulani areas and about an hour to North Shore and other tourist areas. We enjoyed our stay! Was very nicely decorated and well cleaned! Sandy responded to all our calls and texts if we needed anything. She is so nice and polite to deal with.

Happy in Hawaii! Views to die for!
The view from this 11th floor unit was nearly to die for! The ocean seascape was startling and the mountains so green and glorious. Sandy rendered great assistance, before and after arrival. It was he cleanest of rentals by owners we have been blessed to stay. The bed was very comfy, and made it almost too tempting to sleep longer than warranted to enjoy the outdoors. There was ample storage for clothes with a large closet and plenty of drawers. The bathroom was spacious and well laid out - the walk-in shower being the highlight. There was plenty of beach-activity apparatus - chairs, umbrella, tote bags, towels, snorkeling gear, coolers, and more. The kitchen appliances were up-to-date and accommodating. The commodities available on arrival were understandably basic.The grounds, pool area, and gas barbeque grills were exceptionally well maintained. The laundry facilities were ample, easily accessed, and very welcomed. The only issue we would improve is the parking permit process. Arriving between Friday 5 PM and Monday AM was very inconvenient and cumbersome requiring us to obtain a temporary permit at the gate, then needing to park in the lower visitor area unit the longer permit could be obtained at the office when they were open. We understand this is typically a general process for the "resort," but apparently a unit owner can make arrangements otherwise because friends visiting with us in another unit had the longer permit waiting for them in the unit, thus being able to by-pass all the visitor and office permit process. Regardless, we would visit again and we highly recommend it to others.

Beds were so comfortable! It was a great set up for my family of 4 for the price. Would visit again! We used the bbq grill a few times and the kids enjoyed the pool most evenings.

Great Location
We really appreciated Sandy's place! Our first trip to Hawaii! It is wonderful if you want a safe beautiful place close enough to activities, but far enough for peace, quiet and restful stay. We felt we were ling among the locals. That is what we wanted! Plus, the views are awe inspiring! The decor is like pictured. It is very nice, comfortable and relaxing, although the carpet could use spot cleaning in a few areas, but that's minor. Bed is super comfortable! Kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals when you don't want to eat out. Everything needed is provided for the beach: umbrella, chairs, coolers, towels, snorkeling gear, even sunscreen if you forget to be able to enjoy a day or days at the beach! There is a pool and picnic tables on the grounds if you like that too! The grounds are well kept, clean and quiet. They are firm on rules, 24/7 security and things run well. We had no complaints, except the beautiful peacocks or some other animal that sounded like a loud meowing cat at times, but we got used to it! We definitely would book a stay here again!

Ahhhh, Makaha.....
We've stayed at the Makaha Valley Towers several times and Sandy's condo is definitely our new favorite. Very clean and comfortable with great ocean views, it was the perfect respite after long days of diving and playing in the surf. It was absolutely perfect and we can't wait to return!

Fabulous Vacation
My husband and I celebrated our 30th Anniversary in Oahu. We had a fabulous time. Sandy's condo is absolutely beautiful and the views are majestic. Sandy left us a welcoming note and gift which was very kind of her. The bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.
