Large place
The owner of this house was more than accommodating to our group of 13 people. This house is very comfortable and spacious. This truly is a wonderful place to stay in if you’re looking for a relaxing oasis amid the hustling and busyness that makes up the Chicago area. We were also pleasantly surprised that there was ample parking for FREE which is something you won’t often find in downtown areas! *This review was originally posted on HomeAway for a stay in April 2019 RATING 5

Three Family vacation
The bedrooms and bathrooms are really well done. There's convenient on-street parking, and it's FREE (a rarity in Chicago). House is less than 5 min by car to grocery and Target, and less than 30 min to major attractions. The house is generally well supplied with multiple accessories and this renter enjoyed access to the bar sized pool table. Would have been easier to recycle materials if given a list of what's included/allowed--not all recycling companies are created equal. The Nest thermostat is locked out to in-home control, accessed only thru remote programming by owner. Needed 3 separate contacts to owner to correct low settings but owner responded quickly each time. The use of a washer was much appreciated since we had 3 small children. However the washer stalled partway thru cycle and contact with owner revealed we needed to SLAM lid closed. That worked! Instructions to that effect would have eliminated another call to owner. Overall, out family had a relaxed vacation and room for 3 generations to spread out. *This review was originally posted on HomeAway for a stay in April 2019 RATING 5

Greatly equipped house
We enjoyed the majority of our stay at the Bridgeport house; the house was clean, air conditioned and had a large kitchen with every kitchen gadget you would ever need which was appreciated. We had plenty of space for our group. *This review was originally posted on HomeAway for a stay in June 2019

Best Christmas ever
The house was perfect for our family of 10 adults and two babies at Christmas. We were even aloud to arrive early which worked great for our daughter who flew in on a red eye from Alaska. Lots of memories and laughter.Reviewer locationWest Richland, WA *This review was originally posted on HomeAway for a stay in December 2018

Beautiful home
The house is awesomely beautiful. There was no complaints. Easy access to groceries, shopping, downtown and street parking. We felt safe, and tucked away, our own little oasis. We want to return as soon as we can. *This review was originally posted on HomeAway for a stay in August 2018

Perfect for us
We had three generations in the house and it was perfect for us. Each 'family' used their own bathroom, which was great. We loved the carpeted lower level with pool table and plenty of space for the kids to play. The rooftop deck invited sitting up late and talking. The house is lovely, and comfortable. Just off Hwy 55 & 1/2 mile from an orange line stop, the house was convenient for travelling. One tiny drawback - no plastic cups, bowls, plates that would have been more suitable for the younger kids in our crowd. *This review was originally posted on HomeAway for a stay in June 2018
