Description
The home is located within the proximity of four marinas where guest are welcome to rent boats and kayaks. It’s also close by four wineries. Only 20 minutes off the Blue Ridge Parkway near the “Peaks of Otter.” Close by Smith Mountain Lake Park with a ton of hiking trails. 30 minutes from Roanoke. Booker T Washington National Monument is also near by as well as a D-Day Memorial in Bedford. Va.
This five bedroom, four bathroom home is located in a wide cove. There are two Master Bedroom Suites. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and ice maker. Dining table with 10 chairs (extra/chairs there also). Living room has a wood-burning fireplace. Family room with large Screen TV, DVD, Stereo and CD player.
Lower level Rec room with fireplace, lots of books, toys, games,Professional foosball table, large Screen TV and DVD. Lower level is where the washer and dryer and second Refrigerator is located. Dock is stationary with party deck. House has a screened in porch and a deck with a stainless steel grill. Also has a small sand beach.

Beautiful Home and Location
This home was perfect! We took our first big family vacation in many years. The home itself exceeded our expectations. It was so nice and had everything you would need. The owner has done a great job of making this home feel comfortable and relaxing. There was plenty of room for our group of 10. The kids loved fishing from the covered dock and hanging out in the lower level "kids room". The view of the lake was breathtaking. It was such a quiet location. There are so many wonderful things I could say about this home. I can't think of anything I would have changed. I would love to visit this home again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Large and Luxurious on the lake
The house is updated where it counts. Tile floors, tile shower, granite counters, huge stainless refrigerator, fresh stained outdoor wood surfaces. This house is clean! Everything works and is labeled including light switches. Air conditioning is nice and cold. Lots of blankets, pots and pans and baking dishes, reclining spots, family dining on screened porch on kitchen, and dock deck chairs. View from dock deck is incredible and shade on house is so nice. We had 12 adults and teens. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Richard answers even the smallest questions within 15 mins. You want to stay here!

Great Reunion With Friends
We had a great stay here. Made for a great place to get together with old friends. Awesome location in regards to the marinas and restaurants. We also rented a boat during our stay and it was nice to be able to bring the boat back overnight.

Perfect accommodations
Richards house was perfect for our group attending 75th d-day memorials at national d day memorial. Plenty of room, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, and beautiful setting. Screened in porch perfect due to lots of rain.

Beautiful home
This home is perfect for family time. The home was just as listed and located very conveniently. It has everything you could need and then some. There were some minor cleanliness issues upon arrival but nothing major. Richard was very easy to deal with and got back with us quickly on our last day when we had a water issue (out of his control). We would definitely return.
