Perfect in every way!

Coming from someone that prefers to vacation at 5 star resorts, we were thrilled at this beach front home we rented via the internet. When we arrived everything was perfect. The house was built with exquisite taste and attention to detail (the photos just don't do it justice). Everything about the house was high quality, from the decor, the furniture and gorgeous Mexican art in every room. Five of the bedrooms open up to their own sitting area/balcony that overlooked the pool and the beach. The views were breathtaking. We enjoyed all of the sunsets and watching the ships coming in and out of the local port. The pool was immaculately clean (as was then entire home and property) and the beach was only a few steps away. We felt very safe and comfortable with our kids playing on the beach as some of us set by the pool and could see them perfectly. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. Ruben was always around when you needed him and was helpful in every way. Michele, the owner of the property was wonderful at communicating with me via e-mail and phone prior to our arrival. We will most definitely return to this home and will also suggest it to friends and family.

Our best vacation rental ever!

We vacationed over Christmas 2013 at this perfect property! Our group of ten was mixed ages from 6 to 68. We were welcomed with a lovely dinner by Angelina that evening and for many evenings to come. Ruben was very helpful with any special requests, and under his care, the house was beautifully maintained on a daily basis. The house is so well appointed - even more lovely than the pictures show. Daily maid service was amazing, especially with a large group! Perhaps the best thing about our vacation that it was not at a resort, but in a city in Mexico, which we were privileged to visit. Shops and restaurants nearby were friendly and welcoming, the Saturday market in nearby Santiago very worthwhile. I would certainly recommend to my friends and family.

Best Vacation Ever!!!

My husband and I recently spent a week vacationing in Manzanillo. We traveled with 5 other couples ... all of us in desperate need of a break from our brutal South Dakota winter. This vacation far exceeded any expectations we had. The house is amazing!!! Staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Personally speaking, this is the first week I can ever remember where I woke up completely rested every morning and overall felt great! This beautiful home, the wonderful friends we vacationed with, and leisurely pace definitely provided the stress-free environment that I needed. For activities, we walked the beach, shopped, fished, zip lined, took in a sunset cruise, ate out a couple times at local restaurants (delicious), and lazed by the pool for hours on end (my personal favorite). I loved that we had our own pool and didn't have to worry about getting enough loungers for our large group at a resort. The beach was right outside the gate also if you wanted a break from the pool. There are plenty of things to do and for all interests. If you're looking for a luxurious home to spend time at while you soak up sun and relax, this is your place!

We spent a wk in this gorgeous property with five other couple whom we have been friends with for many years. It was fabulous in every way and everyone said it was such a relaxing vacation and none of us were ready to go home. Can't say enough how wonderful Michelle was to work with. We booked this quite a few months in advance so I was forever emailing her with all sorts of questions and she was always quick to respond. Also when we were down here she would email with things going on in the area which was so helpful. The entire property is so beautiful and everything was so clean everyday. Rueben, Susie, and Karen were great even though we had a big language barrier as none of us spoke Spanish but it worked out fine. We had great transportation that Michelle had lined up,had the cook three times which was well worth it( if to return would have her more), and the boys went fishing with the cooks husband(they did catch quite a few Doritos) which were delicious. We pretty much were in the pool all the time! We had massages and mani-pedis set up in the house so life was good! Would return in a heartbeat!

WONDERFUL VACATION EXPERIENCE!

My family and I rented this beautiful home for Father's Day and my Birthday. We rented the entire house since there were 12 adults and 4 children. The house was perfect for us! Each couple had a room and some rooms have futons and/or second beds so everyone fit perfectly. The house is beautifully designed and the pictures do not do this house justice. It is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed the pool daily and at night we enjoyed watching the sunset. Michelle, the owner, is a DELIGHT to work with. She replied to all of my emails and was able to reserve our transportation to and from the hotel. The housecleaners were wonderful as well. They gave us local tips and were servicing our every request. The men went deep sea fishing and we grilled their catch. Spending time with family and making memories in this gorgeous home is priceless. We will definitely be back. :)

Best Vacation Rental - hands down!

First of all let me just say I had a good impression of what the property was going to be like by how helpful, accommodating and friendly Michele was from the very beginning. We were a group of 14 visiting Manzanillo (5 couples and 4 kids). I have been to Manzanillo before and rented a different vacation house that looked good in the pictures but was nothing the way it seemed to be and fell short of expectations. Locals told me "nothing goes your way in Mexico". While that may be true of other vacation rentals, the opposite is the case with this property!! We were all very leery at first but let me just say... THE PICTURES AND ADVERTISMENT DO NOT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE! This place is jaw dropping from the moment you walk up the steps into the house! The view is breathtaking alone, but when you couple it with the beautiful landscaping and palm trees and pool in the backyard, this place is paradise for rent! Not only is it beautiful on the outside but it is beautiful on the inside as well, beautiful decorations in all the rooms, the bathrooms are very luxurious with marble/tile. Some people are afraid of vacation rentals because in the pictures you can't see how clean it is, or you don't know whether the house smells. Let's just say this house is immaculate! At first we were worried about having a groundskeeper always around the property, but you hardly see him because he's always outside somewhere. All you have to do if you need something is yell "Pichardo!" And he comes running with a smile on his face! The staff is awesome. My friend accidentally fell into a manhole behind Walmart and cut open his leg, we didn't know what to do or where to go, so we raced home and yelled for Pichardo and he came running with the staff, one of the maids took it upon herself to clean up the wound for him (using first aid kit on hand) blood and all. Then Pichardo escorted us to the clinic and helped explain everything that happened to the doctor since we hardly spoke Spanish. All this was done out of the kindness of their hearts. (They deserved a good tip :) One thing that really surprised us was how amazing the air conditioning was in the rooms they got COLD! While there we decided to drive down the coast to compare other vacation rentals and no other rentals are as awesome as this one! The beach is quiet and clean! Across the street you have a little grocery mart, a laundromat, and within 2 blocks a hardware/fishing store & Kiosko. We will ONLY stay here from now on!!

Manzanillo Magic

Ten friends stayed in this gorgeous house over Thanksging week. The pictures are just a mere glimpse into what awaits you in this magnificent home. Michele is wonderful to work with and is a hands on owner. She will arrange ahead for fishing and other activities prior to your arrival. Antonio, our driver, was a great asset. The entire house staff is top quality. You can't go wrong with renting this home.

Incredible!

We just returned from a five day stay at this beautiful home. We were a group of six couples and I know we made the perfect choice! From the beginning of the process, Michelle was incredibly helpful with providing information and setting up the booking. She provided us great info on the home, restaurants nearby, and even driving instructions as we were coming in from Guadalajara. We loved the friendly staff; they were amazing and worked so hard to keep the house looking perfect...and always with a smile. Now, for the house! Perfectly designed for a large group. Five of the six bedrooms had in suite baths and comfortable beds. Two even had a small kitchenette with full sized refrigerators. The balconies and veranda overlooking the ocean were great places to gather, but honestly most off our time was spent at the little palapa bar and the pool! The beach was swimmable and we enjoyed spending time there each day. I was a bit concerned as the beach was near the commercial port, but it ended up being a very clean beach and we enjoyed watching the cargo ships enter and leave the port each day. We arranged for Angelina to prepared our dinner one night, and honestly wished we had done that a couple more nights. So enjoyable....her cooking was delicious and she stayed and cleaned up afterwards. All in all...a very enjoyable vacation!

Absolutely Perfect Vacation House

I don't know where to start with this absolutely perfect house... By far the nicest house in the Las Brisas Neighborhood of Manzanillo and well worth the Money for large groups. I am often Leary of renting homes I haven't seen in person before, but I could tell from the pictures on this site and the reviews people had written that this house was different. If you love falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves crashing then this is the house for you. Michele, the owner of this property answered all my questions prior to our stay in a very timely manner. This put me at ease and I knew that it would be a great experience. She arranged for us to arrive a little earlier than their usual arrival time, this was helpful as we caught the red eye down to Colima airport from Tijuana. There is a lot to do in Manzanillo. We went deep sea fishing, checked out the Iguanario, we took a very fun snorkeling and booze cruise, we checked out nearby Cuyutlan which has a turtle and crocodile sanctuary. Besides that we lounged at the pool with cocktails and walked up and down the beach. There are lots of vendors on the beach that sell coconuts and other delicious snacks. All the locals in the area were nice and never once did we feel in danger or out of place as tourists. The staff that works at this house was very polite and friendly, they were respectful of our privacy in the morning and did a great job keeping the house clean. I am already missing Manzanillo and can't wait for my next trip. I can assure you that I will be staying at Casa Puesta del Sol!!! and yes in case you were wondering the name of the house is perfect, the sunsets are amazing. There is a very good reason why this house has all 5 star reviews. It quite simply put is the perfect vacation house!!!

Perfect Beach House, Perfect Location, Perfect Staff!

This beautiful Beach House and it's staff catered to 12 of us for 1 glorious week. The house was roomy and clean with beautiful artwork everywhere. We hired the cook and she had a variety of meals all week and it was delicious!! Plus it is walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Loved it

If you are looking for a relaxing holiday in an amazing home you can't get much better than this. This is our second stay at this beautiful place . The house and location are amazing. I have never had such a chilled out holiday. The pool is crystal clear and is serviced everyday and the home cleaned. The staff are great and do a wonderful job of keeping the home in tip top condition. I loved watching the cargo ships going backwards and forwards to the port and the fishing boats going about their business. What a great place to stay.

Absolutely perfect place to stay!

I don't even know where to begin with our review of this beautiful beachfront home. There were 13 of us who made the trek to Manzanillo for 7 glorious days and nights! There were 11 adults, a sixteen year old boy and an 18 month old boy and the place was perfect for everybody! I can't begin to decide what my favorite part of this property was. The home itself was gorgeous and it was beautifully maintained. We loved our very large bedrooms with the awesome artwork and the bathrooms were just gorgeous! The living space was incredible and we had plenty of room for the 13 of us. The pool was to die for as well. There were many, many volleyball tournaments that took place in that pool throughout the week. We also spent a lot of time at the very quiet beach directly in front of the pool. My 2 kids who were 20 and 16 could have stayed in the ocean for 8 hours straight but there were too many other things that we wanted to do. We took several excursions during the week but we were always back in time for Angela's wonderful dinners that she prepared for us every day. We hired her for the whole week and the food was amazing. We didn't have to lift a finger all week as far as our meals were concerned. She and her helper were so great! The staff of 3 who cleaned outside and inside every morning were the best. After our dinners every night the whole group would sit at the tiki bar and shake dice, play cribbage and just hang out. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets every night as well. From the moment we got off the plane and were met by Antonio and Carlos (our drivers) until the moment we were delivered back to the airport by Antonio and Fransico (our wonderful driver for the whole week), the trip was a perfect 10! We did have quite a delay at the airport before heading back to Minneapolis as there was tons of snow going on there as we were enjoying the 85 degree sunny weather in Manzanillo. If we ever get the chance to head back to Manzanillo, there is no doubt that this is where we will stay. We had an awesome group of people who took this trip and my hope is that the same group can someday go back there again.

5 star private home on a quiet beach!

You will not be disappointed in this beach front house! With six large bedrooms that can sleep up 15 adults comfortably, and seven bathrooms, you will all have space to find a private place to relax. Great location for a family get away, with your own private pool and beach access. Our favorite extra was the chef! These two ladies will shop, cook and clean as many meals as you like. This is a must try! Excellent service from the daily pool man and gardener, plus daily maid service. You will really feel like you are staying at a 5 star resort! Thank you for allowing us to use your home!
