Deborah was a wonderful host

Deborah was a wonderful host! The house was clean and was as described! The neighborhood is typical Mexican...loved all of it!! I hope to return in the future!!!

Doborah's place is really nice

Doborah's place is really nice, and in a great location (just a 10-15 minute walk from the center of town). The neighborhood is quiet and we felt very safe. There were a couple nearby stores, and a couple of nice small restaurants. Deborah was great in offering suggestions for our visit, and was very communicative. If you are visiting San Miguel, I recommend that you stay here!

This property is spacious

This property is spacious, well-appointed and in a great location. We really appreciated all of the amenities. Deborah is a wonderfully responsive host!

It is very clean and spacious

Deborah's place is a 3 story casita. It is very clean and spacious. We took a cab to the center of town for 40-50 pesos, about $2/$3 USD. We did walk once, but I do not recommend it. Aside from the cobblestone rodes, there is a lot of uphill walking. Of course that is part of SMA's charm and history. If you do plan on doing plenty of walking. talking very comfortable shoes! I would definitely stay at Deborah's Airbnb again.

Excellent house

Excellent house, great location, just a short walk to everything. Cool local shops and restaurants just steps from your door. We can't wait to go back.

We liked the location

We liked the location. The neighborhood blend of expats and locals. Supported the local businesses; markets, bakeries and restaurants, all were excellent with helpful staff.

You have a beautiful place

This was our first time using airbnd and we had a great experience. Deborah made our experience even better by staying in touch with us during the process. We got there couple of hours early and in five minutes we had the key to the house. Thank you Deborah for making our stay enjoyable. You have a beautiful place!

We would definitely stay there again

We stayed in Deborah's house for 10 days. It has a great floor plan for a family. The kids had their area and the adults had theirs. It is an older house and it isn't fancy but it is homey and super comfortable. The house has everything a family needs including a washer and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen. The housekeeper was very sweet and helpful. The neighbor is safe and lively. We enjoyed hearing the neighbors' music and the roosters crow in the morning--it was a true Mexican experience. El jardin is a very short enjoyable walk away. The nearby cafes and taco stands are great. Deborah responded positively and extremely promptly to all our questions and requests. We would definitely stay there again.

I really love Deborah’s place

I really love Deborah’s place, let me start by saying! I’ve stayed there twice and wouldn’t hesitate recommending it to friends. The beds are comfy, kitchen amenities good, overall cleanliness good. Unfortunately there was one fatal flaw for us this stay - third bedroom (the upstairs apartment) is unusable :( there were three of us adult ladies so it was pretty critical that we have that room (we didn’t use it in the past trip) When we asked housekeeper to show us the room I sensed hesitation...upon entering the patio outside the room was dirty (needed to be swept, but it had been raining so??) pretty big layers of sand and bird droppings. The bed itself was covered with a kind of grit - to us it looked like termite droppings from ceiling - there was also no towels in in the upstairs apartment bathroom. When we asked La Doña to show us how to lock door it was apparently broken- **Deborah was awesome and immediately sent someone to fix, lock and inspect termite issue, but he was unable to fix either until after we left. Despite all that my friend still tried to sleep up there, but stuff falling from ceiling, birds nested in the roof, constant construction noise (San Antonio is the new hip spot - TONS OF CONSTRUCTION!!) and roof dogs barking kept her awake all night. I’m guessing that room is probably a lot more livable in the Summer. POSITIVES - San Antonio has lots of cute little “living room cafes”, relatively close to town and SAFE! There are bodegas just around the corner and an amazing taco cart one block away (Tacos Diana) Deborah’s house is lovely with a fireplace to boot!

The place was great

The place was great, although the pictures might be a bit deceiving because it is a bit farther than the pictures show but the communication was great and the place is awesome
