It is perfect for couples or a family of 8 who want all the amenities of an upscale condo and the intimacy of your own peaceful island retreat. At Grande Bay Resort, you get the best of both worlds. You're within a brief walk of all that Cruz Bay has to offer - shopping, casual & fine dining, nightlife, water sports, and yet the Resort's beachside location and amenities provide a feeling of intimacy and privacy.
Sueno del Mar’s prime corner location offers unobstructed views of the Cruz Bay ferry dock all the way over to Pillsbury Sound and the evening lights of St. Thomas. Our condo is newly remodeled and decorated in sleek coastal modern furnishings.
Grande Bay Resort has a beautiful pool situated on a sun deck overlooking the beach. This area also contains a generously sized spa/hot tub. Sueno del Mar’s balcony is located directly over the pool which means added convenience for parents with older children who want to keep an eye on pool activities.
A spacious waterfront gym features 3 treadmills, an exercise bike, an elliptical, free weights, and A PILATES reformer! The view of the beach and harbor while exercising is an added bonus.
You'll be welcomed at the ferry dock by our experienced guide, who will assist you with luggage and jeep rental, and then escort you to the condo for a brief orientation. During your stay she is available to ensure that your vacation is relaxing and carefree. If you should choose to rent a jeep, the condo comes with a reserved covered parking spot with elevator access to your condo.
The oversized outdoor living area is a wrap around balcony with access from the living room and also private access from the master bed room. There is a balcony height table with six chairs for watching the sunset over the harbor and beyond to surrounding islands. The master bedroom side of the balcony has two lounge chairs with ottoman’s and table – perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails while listening to the waves roll on the shore.
You will feel right at home in the living room with all of its conveniences, including a 45” flat screen TV, Cable TV and DVD player. The kitchen has top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with all of the conveniences of home, such as a coffee maker, blender, toaster, etc along with all the cook ware and utensils you will need. An electric grill is available on the patio for grilling while enjoying the amazing ocean view.
Sueno Del Mar at Grande Bay is fully air conditioned with three bedrooms and two full baths. Accommodations include two King beds, two twins convertible to a King, and a Queen foldout couch for a maximum occupancy of 8 adults. All bedrooms have their own 39 inch TV’s and ceiling fans. There is even a Play station PS4 and to 2 controllers complete with several popular games.
During the day, get ready to immerse yourself in the breath taking beauty of St. John. Relax at any of the many beaches, go snorkeling or diving, charter a boat to visit any of the reefs, islands, or beaches around the US and British Virgin Islands or go hiking in the unspoiled National Park that covers 2/3 of the island. At nighttime, take an easy walk to any of the many bars and restaurants, shop for island jewelry, or visit the small casino. Then, just take a short evening stroll back to Sueno del Mar at Grande Bay to enjoy the beautiful sunset view.

Perfect Spot
The condo was absolutely perfect and exactly as described. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 1 child. The place was spotless. The location is ideal, as it is in walking distance from all the bars and restaurants in Cruz Bay. Diane was very responsive to all my questions. I highly recommend this place and would stay again!

Convenient to town with a great view
This was the 2nd time we've stayed at this condo. The best part is the parking space right by the elevator, ice machine and water purifier! The condo is spacious and clean with very comfortable living areas and beds. Could use some new pots and pans but other than that we love it.

Great location, view, and place
Can’t say enough about the location, it’s right where we wanted to be, close to everything. The place was immaculate, And the view was spectacular from the patio. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. They had beach chairs and coolers which was a plus and sharp knifes (sounds weird, but so many places not necessarily on St John, in my case Newport and La Jolla ca, the butter knifes were sharper than the cutlery, so if you like to cook at the place that’s huge). We highly recommend this place to anyone who has amenities, location, and cleanliness at the top of the list when booking in St John. We hope to be able to book this place next year. The owners were very accommodating and had told me that we could reach out at any time in case we were in need of anything, there was no need as everything was perfect and as expected.
