Experience Goldberry Woods! Come and stay in the heart of Harbor Country on 28 secluded acres of woods with heated pool and hot tub, hiking trails, river and stream, orchards, organic farm, and prairie less than one mile from the beaches of Lake Michigan! New pool and hot tub for for the property for summer 2019 too (shared with our other cottage and inn --but lots of room for everyone)!
The newly appointed Creekside Cottage at Goldberry Woods is located in a quiet and secluded location surrounded by nature and includes 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, large screened porch, a full kitchen, laundry room, and more! The Master Suite includes a queen bed and master bath with a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds. The family room features a wood-burning fireplace, two super-twin fold-down couches, and large HD flat-screen TV with Blue-ray DVD player and Satellite. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and dishes and features full-sized appliances, a dinette that seats six, and a breakfast bar with additional seating for four. A gas barbecue grill, fire pit, plenty of firewood, and high-speed WiFi is available.
Cottage stays also include full use of our kayaks, paddle boards, and canoes that you can use to float peacefully along on the Galien river that borders our estate. You may also borrow our bikes to ride to the beach or explore the local towns and back roads. You are also welcome to pick and eat anything out of hand that is growing in the fields of our organic farm and orchard. Our large playground structure is right out your door and includes swings, climbing walls, monkey bars, a slide, and multiple level decks. We also have yard games to play including bags, badminton, bocce, and horseshoes. Breakfast at the inn can also potentially be added to your stay. Well-behaved dogs also considered. Pet Fee is $20/day per pet. - Should any excessive cleaning or damage due to misuse/negligence result in the loss of subsequent reservations of other guests of the inn or cottage, you will be held responsible for the entirety of the costs of their reservations. Peaceful Digs
I was in a scramble to find a house for a girls weekend that didn't require a weeks stay and we found this gem! House and beds were nicely kept. Perfectly accommodated 10 people comfortably. Plenty of activities on site and close to downtown new buffalo and the wineries! Would stay again.

Union Pier Retreat
Outstanding! From the moment I walked into the inn I had an enchanting experience. Clean, adorable and my retreat guests loved the bedrooms with jacuzzi tubs and fireplaces. My guest the stayed in the creek side cottages love the rustic space too

Beautiful and charming property, courteous hosts
We held a retreat for 25 guests at the property. Renting out all 3 spaces proved incredibly useful, and the prices are reasonable for what you get. The couple running the retreat were fantastic to work with, accommodating our needs promptly. I consider this a gem of a place, and reccomend this to both orgs looking for an initimate retreat setting and families that need multiple spaces.

Comfortable cottage
The house was very nicely decorated and super clean! We loved having chickens right outside our door (so did our dog!) and explored the property, hiking down to the river despite the bad weather. We are planning to return in the summer to see the fruit orchards.
