Description
Great value, location and style. Modern bright room at a beautiful hotel on the beach in Tulum. Full restaurant, spa, pool, beach deck and hotel services available on site. A great base to explore all that Tulum has to offer with the Mayan ruins just a short bike ride away, as well as easy access in and out of town to explore the ruins or the pueblo. Boho vibe with good music, helpful staff on site, great food and service.
The space
The room is set in the garden with simple but nice design and style and just a minute from the beach.
Guest access
You can use the pool, sun deck, beach and have full access to all the services at the hotel. Yoga classes are $20 and usually available. BIkes are $10 per day.

This place was everything
This place was everything I imagined and more! Our room was beautiful, clean, and safe. We spent many hours at the beachfront, dipping in the pool and lounging on the beds there. The people were so friendly and helpful!

Nice view
This was a room in a boutique hotel on the beach strip in Tulum. Just like staying in a hotel. Room was clean, nice view and great hospitality. My boyfriend and I didn’t know the area well but the front desk staff gave us plenty of good recommendations for food and activities. We rented bikes, which was definitely the best way to get around, I recommend it. The food and drinks at the hotel were great, and because it was off-season, there was plenty of room to relax, zero crowds. The one thing to note is that the hotel needs to turn AC off between 7am and 8pm in the rooms so I’d recommend going out for the day. It’s not unbearable but definitely not comfy to hang in the room during those hours. But we slept great once it started up. All in all, a great stay in a great location. Would definitely go back.

We had the most wonderful time at Amansala.
We had the most wonderful time at Amansala. It’s located right on the beach, near lots of cute restaurants and bars, a quick bike ride to the city and to the ruins. The hotel is hip, quiet, well-managed, and full of all sorts of fun activities. We really enjoyed the bikini body workouts with Josh, and day trips around Tulum. The food is delicious, with plenty of healthy & veggie options. Definitely treat yourself to a Mayan healing session. We loved it so much, we’re already planning our next trip!

Melissa’s place was nice and comfortable.
Melissa’s place was nice and comfortable. It is a very beautiful hotel and relaxing place to stay. The staff was amazing! The beach, pool and deck area is gorgeous. We were a little disappointed to find the room in the picture is completely different. The photos are not up to date which was a disappointment. The photos make the room look much larger and in fact it is much smaller and there is no outdoor deck area. It was a nice and updated room, supposedly (newer) space but it is always confusing to get something completely different when booking. We were only here for two nights and never actually met Melissa but unfortunately both days we saw and heard her yelling at her staff. It was uncomfortable to see that interaction - especially when one time she was yelling about her staff ruining a experience for a guest. When in reality she was ruining the experience for all that could hear her in the public dining area. Her staff was so helpful and really nice to chat with during our stay. Everything is also provided in USD rather than Peso making it very expensive to eat or drink here in comparison to some other place even at the beach.

I had a wonderful time in tulum
I had a wonderful time in tulum! I went by myself and felt very safe. (Im very fluent in Spanish so that might’ve helped) the staff at this place is very attentive, hardworking and helpful. Everything was always clean. They answered any questions I had. They provided helpful local tips. I can say most of the staff is bilingual. I rented bikes and it was a lot of fun biking around the beqch community. Will be back again, thank you soo much!

Amansala was amazing! Perfect location
Amansala was amazing! Perfect location, in the middle of all the amazing restaurants, beach clubs, shops, etc. Staff was always so friendly and helpful. Only con is the AC is only available at night beteeen 10pm-7am, and half the windows don’t close (they only have screens) so it’s kind of pointless to even have the AC as the cool air just escapes out. It’s insanely hot & humid during summer months, and it’d be nice to have a nice cool room to come back to. Other than that, the resort, yoga classes, food, pool and everything else was amazing!! :)

Excellent resort
Excellent resort with pretty affordable drink and food options. Very relaxed feel with options to upgrade your room. We upgraded upon arrival to get a beach view because the standard room didn’t come with one. Well worth the upgrade cost. The resort is also a short bike ride from cenotes, coffee shops, and restaurants. Friendly staff as well with very easy check in/check out.

Amansala is a great spot! We were greeted upon arrival by Mowgli (one of the resident dogs) and check-in was a breeze.

Everything was amazing at Amansala. The photos do not do it justice. Sweet dogs live on the property. The rooms are clean and have AC which is a necessity in tulum. Will be back.

Great place to stay
Great place to stay. This is a clean room in Amansala. Loved the hammock. Came with all necessities and beach towels. The pool and hot tub overlook the ocean. Great location within Tulum. Highly recommend. Nice staff and super safe.
