A b o u t T h e P l a c e
'The Diving Lodge' is a rustic-chic B&B resort right on the beach, on the north end of Puerto Morelos. Only a 15-min back-road drive from the picturesque downtown area, guests can enjoy tranquility and privacy at our six charming seaside villas. The property features an ocean view pool, sun deck, fully equipped kitchen, multiple dining areas, and plenty of space to lounge in the sun.
The layout includes six private villas nestled between tall coconut trees and small beach areas where guests can lay in a hammock, read a book or have a siesta. All villas are air-conditioned with their own private bathroom. Two of our 'casitas' also include a personal kitchenette with a small fridge, stove, sink, microwave, plates, utensils and cooking-ware.

Other Things To Note
This is a family-run business and taking care of our guests is our first priority. The owners/hosts live on the second-story master villa located above the staff kitchen, and are available if you need them. Our cleaning staff will provided fresh linens every 3rd day and clean the entire property.
Breakfast is included with your stay. Lunch and dinner can be scheduled for your group at an additional fee. All meals must be pre-arranged before check-in!
The Diving Lodge is a place to relax and disconnect from your busy life at home. The only phone service available is via cell phones, and the Internet is pretty basic, available in some rooms and common areas. Our main focus is making sure our guests enjoy their time here to the fullest and that your stay with us is as comfortable as it can be.
The Neighborhood
Our neighborhood is mostly quiet, safe and friendly. Only a short walk from a few big hotels and residences, so expect very light beach traffic and lots of privacy. Downtown is a 1-hr walk down the beach (highly recommend) or a 30-min bike ride (ask about our bike rentals!). Otherwise get a taxi in less than 15 minutes.
Getting Around
We are located on a secluded beach road, a 15-min drive from downtown. Renting a car is strongly recommended, but taxis can also be scheduled conveniently from our property.

This was the third year that our group had stayed here while traveling in the area. Isabel and Luis are the most wonderful hosts I've experienced in my numerous VRBO stays. They are so welcoming and they make sure that everything is perfect. If everything isn't perfect, they want to know so they can fix it. I highly recommend staying here, it truly is a gem.
