Description
The Blue Horizon is sunny with lots of light from big windows. Cable TV, fast wifi, heat and many other amenities. It is only minutes walk to shopping and restaurants & 15 minutes to town center. There is a terrace off the living area and balcony with garden and mountain view from the bedroom. It also has access to the roof terrace with a spectacular view. A second bedroom for 2 with twin beds and a private bath can be added if available. The house is a 15 minute walk from the town square.
The space
Blue Horizon is a sunny bright apartment with balconies and a view. The house rests on the side of the mountain in a delightful friendly neighborhood a short easy walk to the town center. The apartment has a private entrance onto the plant filled central stairway. There are two lovely balconies, one from the bedroom and a larger one from the living area. Amenities include internet connection, cable TV, weekly maid service, heat, fully equipped kitchens, heat and linens. Reduced pricing for stays of one week. Even greater savings if you stay for more than one month.
The neighborhood is residential and friendly. Restaurants and grocery stores are within a five minute walk.
There is a second bedroom with twin beds and a bath that you can request it at the time of reservation.
Your hosts will provide you with the information you will need to make your stay easy: from transportation to suggested restaurants, activities and more. This is a no smoking house.

In addition to the private balconies you will have access to the roof terrace with the 360 degree view.

! It was very clean
We had last minute guests arrive to town, and needed somewhere for them to stay for a few days. Charlotte was very quick to respond and accommodate them in the Blue Horizon space. It was perfect for the two of them. There was everything they needed in the kitchen, a nice little balcony with a great view, and comfy bed! It was very clean, organized, and well laid out. They enjoyed the view of the city from the rooftop as well. There is a little tienda on the street for some basics, and around the corner and down 5 de Mayo, there are two great little produce markets, restaurants, etc. If you're looking for a spot to explore San Miguel, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Charlotte's property!

A wonderful place to stay
A wonderful place to stay, great location (close/walking distance to el centro and just far enough away to offer a quieter experience. That said there are many great restaurants and shopping just down the hill, a 5-10 minute walk) artistic touches, excellent value, fast and supportive communication w Charlotte. The rooftop deck is a real plus, as is the optional guest room to accommodate visitors or larger groups!

Had a great two night stay at the apartment. It's in a good neighborhood, a short and pretty 15-20 minutes walk to the historic center. The apartment itself was great with everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. And, we very much appreciate the flexibility checking in and out around our bus schedule.

We liked that the neighborhood wasn't in the center of town, but was an easy walk from anywhere (or even easier bus ride/taxi ride)
We loved our stay in SMA, and Charlotte's apartment was a big part of that. It's beautifully decorated and features an incredible, panoramic view, both from the balcony and from the rooftop. Charlotte was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and her house manual has great tips for what to do/where to eat. We liked that the neighborhood wasn't in the center of town, but was an easy walk from anywhere (or even easier bus ride/taxi ride). I would recommend some earplugs, though, because the neighborhood dogs can be a bit noisy at times.

The place is great
The place is great, its just like the pictures, clean and 15 min walk to the city center. The only problem that we had was neighbors dogs, is not the host problem, but if you really want to have some rest in the night you would have to use earplugs. The dogs where barking every time a person come around, was annoying. Nevertheless Charlotte was a great host and had super tips to had a good and quick impression of the city!

Charlotte's place was great.
Charlotte's place was great. Clean, comfortable, with a beautiful unobstructed view on the roof. Her instructions for the apartment were very clear and the tips helpful. She was quick to respond to any questions and the property manager was lovely as well. We liked the location, although 'far' from the centre of town, the walk down is beautiful and it's easy to access other parts of San Miguel as well. In a nutshell, we'd stay there again when visiting San Miguel. Thanks Charlotte!

It was AMAZING
It was AMAZING! Perfect getaway, "casa caracol" had everything I needed. I traveled with my 3 daughters and they just absolutely loved it! Very accomodating, everything I needed was there, thanks Mrs. Charlotte we had a great time. We would go back in a heartbeat.
