Description
This home is open, filled with natural light, spacious and a great place to enjoy time together. Nestled in beautiful Heber Valley, where temperatures are moderate, it's a great home base for family ski trips, winter activities and summer gatherings, as well as a perfect base for enjoying the beautiful Autumn foliage displays in the surrounding mountains and canyons.
The home is two-story with a fully finished basement, located on a large corner lot. Outdoor amenities include a full basketball court, a heatable swimming pool, a separate hot tub, and an in-ground trampoline, plus grass, trees, deck, gas grill and pergola. The home has EIGHT comfortable bedrooms located on all three levels, some with rustic cabin-like furnishings; all have close access to a bathroom. Enjoy movies in the theater room with surround sound, or watch cable TV in several different locations. We provide free Wifi connection and cable for your work or entertainment.
NOTE #1: The natural wood floors throughout the house are a unique wood, with variations sometimes referred to as deadwood graying. They require gentle treatment. Please remove shoes at the door. Feel free to bring slippers or socks to wear inside.
NOTE #2: The pool is seasonal. It is available during warm months; it can be heated for an additional fee of $200 per stay/week.
The hot tub is available most of the year for a fee of $100 per stay/week. Fee for both the pool and hot tub is $250 per stay/week.
The hot tub is available for the 2019 season. The pool is now open for the 2019 summer season.

NOTE NEW POLICY: Beginning December 1, 2018, we will withhold towel replacement costs from damage deposit. Due to the cost of ruined towels, if the towels are ruined during your stay by wiping spills or floors or makeup removal, the cost of towel replacement will come from your deposit. We apologize for this, but remind you that this is a home, not a hotel, and the differences are inherent. We provide paper towels, cosmetic cloths, and rags for makeup and spills.
You may choose to have darker (colored) towels instead of white towels; simply make that request in pre-check-in conversations. Thank you for your understanding and for taking care of our home as guests.

Great gathering place for our reunion.
Great location for hiking, biking, lake, golfing, etc family fun. The home was great for our large family. The pool, basketball, and trampoline were so convenient and we enjoyed this home.

We loved this house and would gladly return again!
We rented this home for a large family reunion, and it did not disappoint. The owner was fabulous to work with, and the amenities were first rate. Our family really enjoyed the convenience of the backyard pool, basketball court, fire pit and trampoline. The house was spacious and the rooms were comfortable. Plus, Heber City is a wonderful place with lots of things to do and see. We played golf, went hiking and enjoyed the charm of main street and the Dairy Keen for ice cream, all within 15 minutes of the house.

Great place for any group to stay and have privacy and great activity.
We had 12 people staying at this location and were never at any time crowded or without something for any of us to do without going anywhere. Pool, hot tub, trampoline, and basketball court on site allowed all to enjoy. The home was perfectly cared for and furnished to provide a great vacation experience for a group from age 2 to 70.
Very spacious and clean home, we were not disappointed. Owners were very accommodating..
We had a great time! Everyone loved staying here. We want skiing and ice skating, and we were never crowded. Our group loved the basement area to watch movies and play in the play area. It was overall great! I would recommend to stay here and we would love to come again.

This was a GREAT Sundance experience! (But it could be fun any time of year)
First off this place is very well taken care of and Karla, Nancy and their team are very responsive. We only had one small problem where we thought the heat was not working upstairs but that may or may have been our fault for not understanding the settings......either way Karla/Nancy team went out of their way to bring us space heaters which turned out to be mostly unnecessary but this just shows how responsive they were to make sure that we were comfortable. The house is a three story mini-mansion with a pool, jacuzzi and and a basketball court. We rented it for Sundance and it slept 15 people comfortably although I feel it could have slept about 20. This place is 20-25 minutes from Sundance. That being said the price was amazing and we would totally rent it again despite the fact it was a little further out than we would have preferred. There is a WallMart 3 minute drive and a state run liquor store 6 minutes away although it's closes at 7pm weekdays and is closed on Sundays. There is also a weirdly amazing 24 hour Mexican restaurant...we are from California and we know good Mexican....who would guess that they had this amazing gem of a place so close by as well. Anyway, the house is equipped with so many dishes, glass ware and serving stuff that it would serve an army; we had a super bowl party with people staying in the house and we had a blast. It should be noted they have a projector with a screen and wired sound that made watching the Super Bowl or any other movie etc with a big audience so much fun. This was in the second living room downstairs....yes there are two living rooms and the second one has a foosball table. Also there are cool ice caves and hot springs close by that you can scuba dive in or just soak in that it elevates the normal Sundance experience. (You can get Ubers or Lyfts with in 15 -20 minutes and it is roughly $20-25 to get to Main Street Park City.....split between 4 house mates $5 bucks is peanuts instead of renting a car for the week) Anyhoo, Karla and her team were really accommodating and I would highly recommend renting this place any time during the year!

Spotless, Spacious Comfortable Home for a Family Gathering
This home was perfect for our family ski vacation! We had 7 adults and a baby in our party - we so appreciated that there was a portable crib and a high chair available - and our granddaughter had such fun playing in the downstairs cubby play area! Everyone had the privacy they needed as well as multiple gathering spaces for relaxing together. We love to cook and the kitchen was so well stocked with everything labeled so it was a pleasure to be together around the island preparing and serving meals. There is a huge dining room where we could all sit down to enjoy a meal. The three gas fireplaces added warmth and coziness and the hot tub was enjoyed by all. This home definitely sets the highest standard for cleanliness. And it was great to get away from the crowds in Park City. Heber City had everything we needed and we enjoyed exploring the quaint little town of Midway that is close by. Discovering the Jordenelle ticket office and gondola just off Highway 189 that provides access to Deer Valley Ski Area was a great surprise - just a quick drive from the house and no need to deal with the morning traffic into Park City. Thank you for sharing your home with us and for the level of hospitality provided. We look forward to returning...

Large, well kept, clean home base for winter fun!
We stayed the week of 16-23 February 2019. We intended to look for a location that was somewhat central to several different ski areas southeast of Salt Lake City. This house in Heber City was our answer. It is very large, and a very short drive to Park City/Canyons and Deer Valley. We skied the Park City Resorts for the entire week and weren't bored. We are somewhat serious skiers, so we weren't in search of night life...consequently, we cook our dinners. The kitchen is well appointed with gas appliances, good pots and pans, a dutch oven...everything we needed to feed ourselves throughout the week. If you are so inclined, there is night life available in the Village of Park City and many restaurants right in Heber City. Tim and Karla Cox couldn't have been more helpful from the initial contact/reservation process throughout our stay until check out. We are already conspiring to schedule our dates for next year. Maybe we'll come back this summer and do some serious hiking...

Amazing house and location
Our group has been doing this annual trip for over 20 years and I have to say this was one of the best homes we have stayed in. I say home, because that is what it felt like. It is very well equipped, and very comfortable. Our group is 9 guys and one girl ( my daughter) so we need at least 10 beds. With the 7 bedrooms and 4 baths, everyone had a bed and plenty of bathroom/shower time. The kitchen was very well equipped and all of the cabinets were labeled so it was easy to find things. The home is conveniently located in Heber City right near the Walmart where we. Stopped almost daily and within a couple of mile from the liquor store. Since we ski multiple resorts, it was easy drive to all of them. I would highly recommend this home to everyone, especially large groups and families. Karla was great to work with, very responsive and the entire. Process was easy.

Great get a way
Fantastic views in a quiet neighborhood. Fun place to stay with room to spread out relax and play. Great kitchen/ dinning area for our crowd. May need an update or two I had trouble with the pool and spa controls at first. Trampoline is loosing springs, basketball hoops needs nets. All minor compared to the nice beds, clean bathrooms, comfortable furniture. great location. The owner was understanding workable responsive and helpful. I hope we can stay again.

Perfect for family
The house was perfect. It had everything you could need. The owners provide a lot more than other houses we’ve rented. Kitchen was well stocked with spices and almost anything you would need to prepare a meal. Owners were extremely quick to respond with any questions we had. Would stay here again!
