"By The Bay" is an Adults only establishment & enjoys one of the most unique, ever changing, Ocean Views on the entire coast. The wave action is spectacular & very therapeutic, especially during the frequent Winter Storms. We also enjoy a Marine Garden View during low tides. The Charter Boats always come into our view as they find the Whales.
This Cozy one bedroom is a 700 sq ft, secure & private "Home Away from Home". This Apartment is located on the ground floor with no steps, perfect for 2 ADULTS, . We are at least 60' above the Ocean & only 100 yds. from the rocky shoreline. We are centrally located and within easy walking distance to the harbor and all of Depoe Bays' restaurants, shopping and other attractions. Our one bedroom apartment is on the ground floor, Ocean side, & located in the same building as our 1200 sq.ft. three bed Townhome. The entrances and parking are on opposite sides of the building. There is a 6' cement wall affording complete privacy, dividing the "Wing Wa" Chinese lounge parking lot from the rentals. The very popular 'Tidal Raves' Oceanfront Restaurant & a city park are located just across Hwy. 101. "Tidal Raves" opens at 11 AM each day & closes for the month of January for one month each year. This romantic, clean & cozy, one bedroom apartment is trimmed with "Alaskan, Old Growth Cedar". Bring your 78, 45 or 33 RPM records to play on the Victorla turntable. The home has all tile floors, a gas log fireplace, a new queen memory foam mattress, plus all the same amenities as our town home. This unit has a private, Ocean View, covered, wind protected, "Alaskan Old Growth Cedar" Patio. This unit is best suited for 2 ADULTS. During the Busy season, (May-Sept) A THREE NIGHT MINIMUM STAY IS REQUIRED. Shorter stays possible only as fill ins. Please, NO SMOKING & NO PETS OF ANY KIND. Thank You for Your interest!
Two day stays are only available if there is a fill in. *Fill in dates require a $50 cleaning fee.

A coastal gem
My husband and I have always thought it would be relaxing to come to the Oregon coast to see a winter storm in a cozy atmosphere. This little apartment, "By the Bay", was perfect for our 3 day stay. On Thanksgiving,we were able to watch the waves crash onto the rocks while we sat in our pajamas, drinking coffee and looking through the binoculars. This little place was clean, comfortable and had all the conveniences of home. The location was great, less than 10 minutes to Lincoln City to the north and Newport to the south. There are some nice beaches within a few miles. We will stay here again when we are down this way.

Nice little spot
Comfortable, clean and mellow. Although it was just the 2 of us, there could have been more places to sit and relax in the living room area. There is only one small not so comfy couch and a recliner. We had had a long week and were looking to lounge. Other than that, very cozy and homey inside. The porch was fantastic and even had a small bbq. It is a very well kept little place, and we hope to be back.

A Whale of a Time
We had a great time in Depoe Bay. Walt was an excellent host. My goal was to whale watch, Walt's place was perfect for whale watching. We sat at the table and on the covered patio and watched for hours. The description of the place was spot on and delivered what it said.
