The space

Pu'u Koa Palms is located just 5 minutes away from the famous Ho'okipa Beach Park and conveniently located two blocks off the Hana Highway.

This listing is for a downstairs studio in Building 48. The recently remodeled studio apartment is spacious with a queen bed. There is also a convertible sofa bed (set up upon request); kitchenette; a large bathroom with shower and a private lanai with table.

The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, coffee maker, and small refrigerator. There is no full-size oven, stove or dishwasher. Enjoy use of the TV, private phone, wi-fi and shared washer and dryer on site. This listing can comfortably fit four guests. Need more space? Check out the one bedroom units!

The neighborhood is nice and quiet in peaceful Haiku. We are located close to many local shops, restaurants (sushi, vegetarian, etc), and other amenities--such as a fitness club. The Haiku town center is five minutes away. (Ask for directions). It is very relaxing and will give you an idea of real island living. Come escape the busy tourist areas and experience the magic of aloha at Pu'u Koa Palms.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for, beaches close by and great way to start road to hana. Only about a 10min drive to paia town

The space was great

The space was great and the location was perfect for the Road to Hana, Haleakala sunrise and making a quick trip to Paia. I made the mistake of renting an SUV and the parking lot is small so it was a challenge trying to get out again. I exchanged it for a compact car on day 2 so if you don't drive a big rig at home do not rent one on Maui! also plan your route before you start driving! Good spot. Stefano responded right away to both requests - when the battery died in the smoke alarm and then when the Wi-Fi went out in the other building and the tennant asked me to contact Stefano. I couldn't get the hot plate to work but I didn't even mention that to him.

Great place to stay. Great location if you want to do the hwy to hana! Stefanos place is very very clean and he provides some nice extras like towels and beach toys, boogie boards, chairs...ect. reallyeverything you need! Had a great time!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Stefano has put lot of thought into amenities for a place like hawaii. He provided sports equipment including noodles, boards etc. He included everything in kitchen from cooker to juicer which is really useful in maui where food outside is expensive for all three meals . Location is very close to baldwin and hoopika beach which are good for all the water activities from surfing to snorkelling. Suggest longer stays at the place to fully take advantage of amenities.
