Somewhere in time is a memory of unspoiled Hawaii. Old snapshots from magazines, novels describing pristine beaches and a proud beautiful people. Sometimes we hesitate to experience reality as it may distort imaginings that bring us joy. Seeing the teaming cities of Hawaii interfered with all we had imagined until a tiny plane carried us back to an island where imagination and reality met perfectly. Moloka’i, the Hawaii of my imagination.
Listen to the waves, feel the trade winds, watch the whales. Step off the lanai with your fresh fish for an easy stroll to our community barbecue. The community pool, barbecue, and covered patio is a great place to "talk story" with the new friends you are sure to meet. After all, Moloka’i is the Friendly Island!
Wavecrest Resort is an oceanfront community located on the east side of Moloka’i. Our ocean front & ocean view get-a-way is a comfortable 1 bedroom condo with a king size bed and sofa-futon that can easily accommodate 4 people. The condo is ready for you with all towels, sheets, cooking utensils and much more to help make your exotic Moloka’i vacation a memorable lifetime experience!
Getting to Moloka’i is just the beginning of your experience. In between relaxing on the lanai or by the pool, plan your adventures from a long list of activities. Choose from snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, deep sea fishing, paddle boarding, surfing, golfing, hiking, or just strolling on the beach; the journey awaits you!
Wavecrest is the perfect home base for experiencing all that Molokai has to offer. Located 13 miles east of Kaunakakai Town, it is an easy drive to all of the amenities available on the island. Plus you are a short distance to the Hawela Valley, a breathtaking tropical valley and waterfall hike led by a local cultural guide. Or ride a mule to visit Kalaupapa National Historic Park.
