Barrero Beach House is a two level house with 2 apartments, 2 bedrooms and one bath upstairs and 3 bedrooms and one bath downstairs.The property is located right on one of the nicest beaches in Rincon.Barrero Beach House is a beach house in every sense of the word as you step out the back directly onto the beach. You could spit into the ocean or even fish from the back yard. . A place where you can have a BBQ just feet from the ocean, it is like camping on the beach in a house.There are no other vacation rentals in the area and it is located in a very unique Puerto Rican neighborhood about two miles from town.For a truly Puerto Rican vacation this is the place with a beach colmado (small store) one block down the road with cold medalla beers and fried meat pies (empanadillas). Each unit has it's own BBQ, balcony with table, washing machine and enterance. the yard is a common area.
You can pay more but not gong to get more, this is the lest expensive property in Rincon that is directly on the beach.
We lost a lot of trees from hurricane Maria but our beach is just fine with more sand then before the storm.
Other Activities: Have a BBQ on the patio and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Go to the Colmado Oasis and have a beer.
Mountain car tour.
Go to Camuy Caves and Radiostelescope.
Go to the lighthouse on Cabo Rojo.

A unique and authentic experience
We loved the immediacy of the sea...crashing waves 24/7! We enjoyed swimming with the tides right out the door....be mindful of where the rocks are and you will have a delightful time. The house is simple and clean with all the necessities. No hot water but there is an electric heater attached to the shower. We preferred the sun warmed outdoor shower. We did dishes by heating water on the stove. Sample many places for terrific PR meals and drinks! Including Chef’s Garden a farm to table experience right in the neighborhood. Enjoy the town of Rincon and also explore many other coastal towns and beaches. Joe and Pilar are great hosts and accommodated us when we needed extra time. Be prepared for the unexpected and go with the flow...part of the fun and adventure of staying this unique house on the beach!

Great Time
We loved every minute of our stay at Joe's Beach House! The house is well-kept and clean, and only steps away from the beach! This was our 5th visit to Rincon, and we always stay here! The sunsets are beautiful, and there are lots of things to do... great bars and food, catamaran cruises, and some of the best surfing in the Caribbean! We'll be back!

Amazing stay
We had such a great time at Joe's property. It is right next to the beach and such beauty. With a walk down the beach, we found one of the best beaches to swim at. Joe was very accommodating and was there if we needed anything. He had great recommendations and the little taco stand next door was fantastic, true Puertorican food. We will be back and will be staying at Joe's property again. We had an amazing time.
