The space
We are located on one of the most beautiful beaches on Oahu. It is very private and you can walk it for miles. There is an Island offshore that can be wadded to on low tide.
Laie is a small town but has lots of eateries, a large market and a movie theatre. The biggest attraction in Laie is the Polynesian Cultural Center .You can get a package which let's you go in several days. It is not to be missed. The productions are first class and the people are wonderful.
The Mormon Temple and Visitor Center is stunning. BYU Hawaii is a jewel. The students are so friendly and come from all over the world. Laie is a special place.

Guest access
The studio is a separate apartment with it's own private entrance. It includes a parking space and access to a free washer and dryer on the property. There is a right of way on the side of the house to walk straight out to the beach.

Other things to note
The North Shore is 20 minutes away. Haleiwa is a very cute beach town with lots of shopping and different kinds of foods to eat.
The next town from Laie is Kahuku. It has a zip line. It is very popular.

The apartment was adorable and nicely set up
Firstly, the hostess is lovely. She was more than happy to help us with anything we needed, a real sweetheart. For anyone looking for easy access to the north shore and it’s endless beaches, surf spots, and hikes, this place is just a short drive from everything you’ll be looking for. The apartment was adorable and nicely set up. Waking up on the beach with the sound of the ocean coming in through your windows was definitely a highlight.

Sue’s place was nice
Sue’s place was nice, within walking distance to a few places eat and shop. Although the place doesn’t have balconies, the site has a nice grassy area facing the beach with two benches which were great to sit on and watch the sundown and others playing on the beach. We didn’t spend time on that beach but various families and couples were enjoying it with tons of space (100’s of feet) between them. You could watch surfers aways away. Sue provided a great overview of the area and suggested good restaurants to eat at, etc. Overall the place was great and what could be expected for a more quiet part of the island.

great location, right on the beach, very clean and comfortable, easy to find. very close to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and polynesian center very close by. we had a rental car which is a must with parking right there. nice area away from hustle and bustle. fun to watch surfers everywhere being this is on north shore. watched surfers on beach at this rental. sue is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. highly recommend

This is a great location
This is a great location very close to the Polynesian Cultural center as well as many beaches. We found it very noisy, being right on a busy highway. This property is right on a beautiful beach but does not provide any outdoor amenities other than that.

We found this place to be amazing! Sue is a very thoughtful and informative host and she gave us a quick summary of what was available in the area. The space has plenty of room to relax and is just steps to a great beach to walk on and swim at.

Great spot beach access right in the back yard sweet host sue is a great host. She got to know us a little, made sure we had everything we needed for the five nights my wife and I were there, and even changed the checkout time to better accommodate our schedule. The studio is beautiful, clean, and a nice size for two people . I would for sure book again if in the area!
