Description
This is a brand new first floor apartment with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathroom, newly appointed kitchen and bathrooms on a quiet street in Cambridge. Central air and ceiling fans make for a comfortable apartment during hot summer months. You will feel like you are a local as all the neighbors are very friendly. This apartment will accommodate 4 people very comfortably for a few nights, a full week or more. There are alot of great restaurants, shops, yoga studios, hair salon, spin studio and much more right within walking distance. On street parking is available with the use of the visitor pass which will be provided for you. We are situated between Harvard and MIT making the location very convenient and very accessible to the subway for easy access into Boston. We are only a couple blocks from the Charles River which makes for a nice early morning walk/run or perhaps a stroll after a meal. Also located by the river are the Hubway rental bikes.

Loved everything about this apartment!
My family, including a 14 and 17 year old, stayed here while we did college visits for my son. We loved the apartment and it was enough space for a short trip with our family of 4. It was nice and updated and had everything we could have needed. Beds were comfy and having the extra 1/2 bath was great while we coordinated getting ready in the mornings. We didn't cook meals there, but easily could have if we needed to. We were so exhausted after walking a TON around campuses, it was nice to come back in the evening and relax while watching tv or a movie. It was a great location on a nice, quiet street. The subway was close by and we used the T to head to Boston on our first afternoon there. We didn't have a car, but using Uber for other trips around was very easy. The owner, Leigh, was incredibly responsive and very easy to correspond with! Especially when our travel plans got very messed up with a canceled flight into Boston, she was very accommodating and helpful. Besides that travel issue, this whole trip couldn't have gone more smoothly! We would definitely stay here again and certainly will if this is the area where our son ends up going to school. Highly recommend! Especially if you're just in for a few days to look at colleges. There are great restaurants close by and there are a ton of great places within walking distance. Perfection in Cambridge!
This stay was really perfect. My family and I went to visit our daughter who attends Harvard and we stayed for over two months. From the day we came until the day we left everything was effortless, incredibly convenient and really charming. In two months you would expect some kind of issue, but there was none. The owner was incredibly responsive. If I had a question, it was answered immediately. The professionalism was second to none. Having stayed in Cambridge every year for the past 4 years what I think differentiates this property is that it is so clean, it has every amenity you could want and while in the middle of Cambridge-the most crowded place bustling with visitors, business people and students- this property felt peaceful and quiet while still being in the heart of everything Cambridge. The home is extremely close to two T stations, one in Harvard Square and one in Central Square. Between these two squares there is so much to do and great places to eat, shop etc. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are close by. The bus stops are equally close and convenient. We had a car and never struggled to find convenient street parking but a car in Cambridge is an unnecessary inconvenience. The home is very close to the Charles so walking on Memorial along the river is awesome. Most things in Cambridge tend to feel a little old and run down, but not this home. There are multiple TV's, central air and heat and two bathrooms- which is also hard to find in my experience in Cambridge. The home is really fresh and clean and has enough dishes and cooking utensils, etc. to stay for an extended time and be very comfortable cooking meals. With this home you also avoid too many stairs which makes it a great stay for people of any age/condition. I would just like to thank the owner and her family for such a lovely stay. They provided so many extras and went above and beyond what is expected when renting a place. You made our last visit to Cambridge the best yet!
