This half acre cozy waterfront has a beautiful view of Mountains and has the greatest Sunrise. The home has three bedrooms and sleeps up to twelve people. On the first floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, Large living room with a leather queen sleeper, bathroom, and laundry room. There is also a large glassed in porch offering a great view of the lake. The porch has a dining table and a queen sleeper.
The second floor has a half bathroom and private bedroom has a King size bed and the a great view of lake the lake. From this bedroom you can enter the large outside glass enclosed deck enjoying the sunrise while sitting at two bistro tables sipping on your first cup of coffee. The loft has full size bed and two twin beds.
Outside there is a large area for parking. there is a 25' dock to moor your boat and for swimming enjoyment. There are two decks with tables, and a picnic table to enjoy while grilling your favorite hot dogs and hamburgers on a Webber gas grill. In the evening you can relax and enjoy the chiminea wood burner outside.
This house is BEAUTIFUL! While we did not utilize the deck off the master bedroom this week, having been awakened by our two grandsons each day, we used all the other areas. This house has relaxing places for everyone. Shady on the patio, sunny on the small deck, chairs out front watching the kids in the water, and a campfire in the wood burner with marshmallows! Breakfast on the porch, dinners on the patio. The enclosed sun porch is perfect as a place for little ones to keep toys and entertain themselves when not outside. The kitchen while small was really only used to cook in and kept "too many cooks" out of the way. The living room has plenty of very comfortable seating. And the abundant ceiling fans kept the room temps very nice. The 3rd floor bedroom was just right for the two boys and a friend visiting on a sleepover. If you are with other adults, but in for first dibs on the master bedroom! The swimming area is just the right size for small children with a short ladder for entering the water. We put the boat (20' pontoon) on the end of the dock due to the rocks and not wanting to lose the swim area. It was used multiple times every day, with tubes, floating things, ball playing and looking for fishies. On Sunday morning we were in the water by 8am. The washer and dryer were a MAJOR hit. With 2 little ones, our son & daughter in law were able to bring half the clothing. Our son Mike (the chief cook for the week) reports the kitchen was very well equipped. Whether it is the peacefulness of the Loon sanctuary in the far north, the open water of a 165' deep lake for tubing or skiing, the partying at the sandbar, the quiet south end of the lake, or Ahern State Park with an excellent beach for little kids (and for snorkeling) almost directly across the lake from the house, Lake Winnisquam has it all. This house is a great place to bring your family and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Comfortable beds, great view, sandy bottom swim area a plus. Many seating options in and out.
We enjoyed a relaxing week at this cottage, spending most of our time on the glassed in porch looking out over the lake. Washer and dryer helped us pack light. Our boat had to be kept on the swim side of the dock to avoid the rocks, which made the swim area tight, but we made the best of it. Winnesquam lake is a good kayaking spot, so plan to bring some. The kitchen although small, had everything, even an electric tea kettle! Fairly close to shopping, so no problem. Lots of wildlife, including daily otter swim by. Our visiting toddler had a difficult time with the sloping lawn and extra decor inside and out, but the 5 year old was just fine. Surprisingly, very few mosquitoes. There are plenty of ceiling and floor fans to use, so we were comfortable sleeping.

Owners were super nice. Home was clean and well kept. Outside has so many sitting areas to view
Tucked away from the craziness of life but close enough to fun and shopping. Lake is beautiful. Home is well kept.
