We rent exclusively to contractors and military personnel working at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) or medical personnel working at the Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital (KVMH), Kauai West Side Medical Center or similar facility. The County of Kauai doesn't allow vacation rental use of condominiums in our development and this allows us to offer a quieter and a more relaxing stay. Our home away from home displays our pride of ownership as we continuously make improvements and updates. Many of our guests at the end of their contracts find it hard to leave when it is time to return to the mainland.

Our beachfront Kauai Rental is oceanfront, has a pool and is walking distance to Waimea Town shops, restaurants, and theater. In addition to its great location in nearby Waimea with close proximity to the PMRF and Kekaha, you will find many of the comforts of home, including high quality tropical island furnishings, king size beds, Air Conditioning, LED HDTV, Blue Ray Player, DSL wireless high speed internet service, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and a washer & dryer in the unit. This is a place where you can come home and relax to find the Aloha spirit mixed with the sound of the surf.

We just cannot say enough about our visit to Kauai and stay at your condo. It was our home away from home for 30 glorious days. We are already anticipating a return for next year. We had the privilege of staying at the GRAND WAILEA on Maui for FREE with two company sponsored trips. That is one of the top five resorts in the world. What I am trying to say is EVERY TIME WE RETURN TO HAWAII - WE WILL ONLY RETURN TO YOUR CONDO ON KAUAI. It supercedes any luxury vacation I have ever experienced. The ocean views, whale watching from the balcony, going to sleep and waking every morning to the sounds of the waves breaking, the fresh fish grilled on the balcony night after night, the sleepy little town on the sunny side of the island away from all the crowds and touristy type places. It is the PERFECT place to spend every vacation and we will DEFINITELY RETURN!

Come for the proximity to PMRF. Stay for the amenities like covered parking, pool, excellent kitchen

This is a great place for an extended stay. The place has a nice view of the black sand beach and Waimea fishing pier, excellent kitchen, and a big gas grill on the deck. The pool great for getting a little exercise and the garden is very well maintained. Be sure to look in the hall closet before you go to the beach. There are grass mats, books and beach towels. There are also some brilliant beach chairs in the guest bedroom closet. There's a carport bay for your ride and a hose to knock of any sand and famous red dirt you may have attracted. If you are working on the west side the hours you save not driving really add up.

Home away from home

Waimea by the Sea Condo #9 was truly a home away from home. This beautiful property was a turn key condo with all the comforts of your own home. After spending 28 glories days and working 12+ hours at PMRF, it was a pleasure to come "home" and relax and enjoy the ocean views and breath taking sunsets. The Hawaiian trade winds were a delight to bring in the cool ocean breeze and the majestic sounds of the ocean waves. As a seasoned TDY traveler, this property made my stay the most relaxing and enjoyable EVER!

Great place to stay

I have stayed at most of the condo's, houses, hotels and apartments available in Waimea and Kekaha (I have been coming to the island at least once a year since 1986). This condo ranks at the top of my list of places to stay. It's clean, quiet, friendly and within walking distance of all the shops, restaurants and stores that Waimea has to offer. Of course you cant say enough about the view from the balcony especially the sun set!

This condo in Waimea is perfect for PMRF folks - short commute, 15 minutes or less. The condo itself is great. In February, we never needed to turn on the AC. Instead, we left the screened sliding doors open slightly and the bedroom windows open, which set up a nice sea breeze throughout the condo. Really enjoyed hearing the waves breaking on the beach - very nice, relaxing, meditative sounds. Great to sit on the patio with sunset views toward Niihau, and a view of a nearby local pier which makes for a nice, short walk. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and a gas grill is on the patio. Very nice quiet part of town, with a supermarket and several restaurants nearby. The owner, Henry, is great, very helpful and quickly responsive to emails. Overall experience was superb! Mahalo, Henry!

Wiamea By The sea....a place of solitude.

What can I say that the other reviews haven’t said? Too hard to do, like everyone else that has stayed here, you automatically fall in love with the place. The unit is exceptionally clean, and well maintained. The owner has paid attention to even the smallest of details making you feel right at home the minute you walk in the door...Working on the west side of the island, you soon realize just how valuable this location is when noticing the traffic coming from Kapaa....the time it saves on a commute back and forth is invaluable..... After a long day at work you’ll appreciate how quite and relaxing it is. Solitude and Beauty only describe a fraction of what Waimea by the sea has to offer... At the end of your stay, You’ll feel like you don’t want to give too good of a review for fear in the future you’ll be put on a two year wait list....it’s that spectacular ...., beautiful ocean views, a cool on shore breeze along with the relaxing sound of the waves each night, makes “Waimea By The Sea” a place of solitude you will never forget......

Very Well Kept!

My husband and his brother stayed here for a few months. beautiful and well kept! Has everything you could ever think about needing in the kitchen. king beds in both rooms was a great bonus. the couch in the living is over sized and can easily be slept on. The neighbors are all very friendly and helpful, close to town shops and Big Save for grocery shopping. the porch and view is breath taking. the pool and yard is always well kept. if you stay here you must watch the sunsets off the pier! Henry was very accommodating! the only thing they said they would change was air conditioning, there is a small unit in the kitchen/living area that cools fairly fast, but the bedrooms at night stayed pretty warm.ended up buying fans which helped move the breeze through the house. But other than that the guys both agreed that if they were to be on that part of the island for work again that they would defiantly call Henry! also you honestly cant beat the price. best deal on the whole island!

Very convenient location to PMRF, local food, grocery, pool, recreation pier and awesome sunsets!!!!

This was my second stay at this great location. First time was for about five days. This time for 3.5 weeks. And there are lots of reasons why I came back: Very nice condo, well laid out and appointed. Nice modern kitchen, bath, laundry. Two bedrooms. Awesome sunset views from the third floor patio. Views of Niihau also. BBQ grill on the patio. Weekly cleaning service. Great owner with prompt replies by email and by phone. Henry is one of the best. His check-in instructions are very detailed and informative, including local recommendations. This was the first VRBO property that I stayed at, and Henry’s professionalism has made me now a frequent VRBO explorer and customer. Mahalo, Henry!

Very well kept place and great view of the Waimea pier!

I really enjoyed staying in this place. I was working at PMRF so it was super convenient. The unit was very clean and well kept, nice having the washer and dryer in the unit. The balcony view is fantastic. Interactions with the owner went great. I will definitely try staying here again.
