Description
This ultimate relaxation property consists of a three bedroom house with large eat-out terrace, and beautiful views overlooking your own private pond. The entire property is very secluded and contemplative, with a winding driveway off a local road. It is a unique and quiet place to relax, unwind and immerse yourself in a natural environment, with friends and family. There is a 20's style screened-in outhouse with two changing rooms overlooking the pond. Near the diving deck is a stone BBQ and fire pit for entertaining. Mature and beautiful flower gardens and trees surround the pond,, as well as an extra 7 acres of forest that then backs on to over 100 acres of the Edwin Teale Audubon Bird Sanctuary–great for long walks, forest bathing, tuning into swaying trees, leaf peeping, fluttering birds, rippling water, and reconnecting with nature. It has a herb and vegetable garden, and the pond is ideal for swimming, canoeing and fishing. There are two small waterfalls, one flowing past the house and one pouring into the pond; you can hear running water from two of the bedrooms and the living room. There are three walk bridges that cross streams on the property. This place is perfect for a tranquil and restorative summer or fall vacation, where you can tune into the smells, textures, tastes and sights of nature, and leave stress behind.
The property and surrounding area is known for its beautiful autumn foliage, and is ideal for 'leaf peepers'. The colors reflected in the pond from the house are glorious.
Rented with a 3-day minimum. The price ($175/night) is for 4 people. Add $15/night for any additional guest; with a maximum of 6 people. A pet is $10/night. I can accept one dog, or two small dogs.
On the property of 10 acres there are 3 structures: the main house, the change-room by the pond, and a small cottage where a caretaker sometimes stays when doing chores and repairs.

Fabulous!
If you’re looking to pull the plug this is the place to be. I couldn’t say enough good things about it. The location, the property, and the accommodations are all great, and Pia is a pleasure. If you’re looking for relaxation, look no further.

Retruned for another Stay at this peaceful home away from home
Came for another vacation to relax and enjoy nature. Nice handful of things to do locally. The focus is enjoying time at the house and enjoying the Lake and hiking trails that spill over into the backyard. Pia is quite welcoming, very helpful. Thank you very Much, M

Always paradise!
A sixth visit to this amazing property speaks for itself. As avid Home Away travelers, there are numerous properties we like, but at this one, we feel at home! And that feeling is priceless. Leaving with a heavy heart means we had a wonderful time and disconnected from everything! Thank you, Pia, for your hospitality and for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. Thank you, also, for the fresh tomatoes. We will return soon enough! 💕💕💕xoxoxo
