Description
This comfortable home is centrally located near Zions, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Grand Staircase-Escalante Monument, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, and Brian Head. Fully furnished in a quiet neighborhood. Three minutes to downtown.
Nice home, built in 2009, with fully fenced yard, ideal for those traveling with pets or small children. There are three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, one has a queen bed, and the master bedroom has a queen bed. Each bedroom has a dresser, nightstand, lamp, and closet. The master bedroom also has a small walk-in closet and private bathroom. The other two bedrooms share the bathroom in the hall.
The living room is smaller-sized. It has a cozy loveseat, recliner, flat-screen TV with Blu-ray player. There is a business center nook tucked under the staircase with desk and chair.
In the kitchen, there is no actual dining table, but we have just typically used the counter for eating. There are 4 bar stools at the counter. The cupboards are stocked with standard dishes and seasonings. We would love to make your stay more enjoyable. Please let me know if there is something specific you would like to have on hand, and I'll do my best to deliver. Kitchen has standard appliances.
Off the kitchen is a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a pantry room. There is also a small broom closet by the doorway to the garage that houses broom, mop, and vacuum for your convenience.
2-car garage, street parking, and graveled parking--ideal for parking a boat, toy hauler, trailers, etc. I do have some things stored temporarily in the garage so right now only one car will fit.
Interaction with Guests: I will be available for check-in and check-out and on call for additional help, but other interactions will be minimal as I have several small children, and other obligations that make it challenging to spend lots of one-on-one time with guests. But I will strive to be as accommodating as possible to make your stay enjoyable.
The neighborhood is quiet and family-friendly. You'll see folks stroll by in the cool summer evenings. Some of the neighbor kids will ride bikes by or take their dog for a walk. The beautiful red mountains are there to enjoy outside the front door. You are a quick drive to the gas stations, grocery stores, movie theater, and down-home shopping.
Getting around: There is no public transportation available, but there is good parking available on the property.

Warm, hospitable and perfect for our family!
We had the blessing of meeting Star on the first day of our stay. She was so warm and helpful! We visited Zion, the Best Friends animal sanctuary, and other sites, and this was a perfect place to come back to in the evenings. We had everything we needed, and we loved this house! Very comfortable and conveniently located. Thank you Star and we hope to come back again one day!

Very clean, nice home, great location, definately recommend!
The home was very clean, spacious for our family of four, 2 bathrooms was a plus, nice to be able to park car or utv in the garage, space on property to park trailer off the street, washer and dryer was nice as well. Would stay here again, no question! Star the owner was awesome and easily available if needed.

Lovely property in center of 5 National Parks and Best Friends Animal Santuary
Wonderful/Comfortable property located in center of Kanab which turned out to be a wonderful home base to many national parks and monuments such as Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon North Rim, Lake Powell, Anelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, The Wave and countless other places - as well as - one of the best reason to visit Kanab, The Best Friends animal Sanctuary at Angel Canyon.(.not to be confused with the best friends office across from Glaziers Markets). The house had a well stocked kitched and pantry and Roku TV in the living room - all the Roku apps for the kids and for those that like traditional tv, there is SLING - where can do a week free subscription for all the usual TV channels, CNN, MSNBC, AMC, TBS, HGTV, ESPN, movies, etc..... There were 3 good sized bedrooms, 2 nice baths, and a laundry area as well as a patio. Definitely a great find!! and provided the foundation to a great vacation. Plus a large 2 car garage for the car(s). and ..forgot to mention, Chocolates on your pillow when you arrive!! Great find and great Landlord STAR!!!

We stayed at Star's place visited all The national parks and the north rim grand canyon. The place is clean beds are comfortable.appliances are new it was definitely home away from home. If you are going to southwest Utah you need to stay there

Nice house. Quiet community. good location. Close to grocery store, restaurant and national parks.

Wow!! Beautiful house, Super Clean, Amazing Host!
Wow the tiny details made all the difference. The house was super clean. Everything we needed and so much more. Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights and this place was perfect. Spacious, comfortable and like a home Away From Home feel. We had snacks available and fresh fruit. Also nice quality shower supplies. Our family was so surprised and very impressed with the care and attention to ensuring our stay was wonderful. Thanks so much for a great stay! We will definitely be back to this locale and the Super Host Star.

Star's Place is Great
Star's Place is a perfect base for exploring the national parks, volunteering at Best Friends, or simply enjoying the peace of the desert landscape. Conveniently located just a short way from the center of Kanab, the house is clean, quiet, well-equipped, and well-maintained, and Star is a gracious and caring host. We feel lucky to have found this place, and definitely plan to return.

Warm Family Home
This is a beautiful home. Very clean, modern, and well kept property that was a great place to come back to after a long day of exploring the beautiful parks and local communities. Star was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. After a long drive, the warm touches she provided made our arrival to Kanab welcoming. Will definitely rerent this house.
